Tactical Papageno Pan Flute in D – Modern Octave-Up Soprano Version (22°C)
Tactical Papageno Pan Flute in D – Modern Octave-Up Soprano Version – Collection (10°C to 40°C)
| How is the tuning? | This flute is tuned to D major, one octave higher than the historical Papageno instrument, at A = 440 Hz (22°C). Our range goes from 10°C to 40°C. Download our collection to access a range of pan flutes that have been scaled; this scaling compensates for the increase/decrease in the speed of sound at higher and lower temperatures, ensuring the instrument stays in tune! If you require the original octave version, see our companion model: “Papageno Panflute in D – Original Octave Version.” |
| How hard it is to play? | We’ve integrated the ideal embouchure for these pipes into the top of the Papageno Pan flute. There is nothing more to learn than blowing into a hole. It doesn’t go sharp or flat. It couldn’t be easier! We know you’re doing other things on stage… worrying about playing an instrument shouldn’t be one of them. |
| Is it loud? | Yes. As loud as we could make it. |
| Can I play other music on this? | Sure. You get a 5 notes. Do with these notes what you will! |
| What if I need something changed with the design? | If you’re good at 3D modelling, you can make the changes yourself. (Please send us a copy, too!) Contact us to discuss customization options and let’s co-create a Papageno Pan flute that meets your pan flute needs. |
